"Will doing this make me more popular?" "If I wear this, will I look more in style?"

Too often people ask themselves questions like these. They are trying to live up to the standards of other people - whether it be friends, acquaintances, family, or even complete strangers.

There is only one standard we should live by. God's.

Whether it be picking out your outfit or deciding who to hang out with, we should ask ourselves, "Are these clothes something God would want me to wear?" or, "Would God want me to spend time with this person?", instead of wondering what the people around you would think.
