I love how certain words have memories attached to them.
Like the word "summer."
Whenever I hear that word, I think of a specific gray, striped comforter.
When I was a little girl, on a hot summer day, my siblings, mom, and I would spread out this comforter in the backyard. We'd eat popsicles, play games, and talk under the trees for hours. Sometimes my sister and I would bring out a big box of beads we had collected over time, and make jewelry for eachother.
So everytime I hear the word "summer," that's what pops in my mind.

Speaking of summer, its getting closer and closer!
It was sooo nice out on Friday and Saturday. I could actually wear shorts, and believe it or not, I WASN'T COLD! It was amazing, I even had a waterfight with my friends.
But then good old Oregon decided to start raining again. For the next week. *sigh* Oh well. . .
44 Days Until Summer!
